CBS 170th branch opens in Talisay City, Cebu

CBS China Bank Savings, the country's second largest thrift bank, reached another milestone with the opening of its 170th branch in Talisay City.
CBS Talisay-Cebu opened today at South Coast Center. The ribbon-cutting ceremony led by CBS President James Christian T. Dee was attended by civic and business leaders, and bank executives from CBS Head Office in Makati.
"The opening of CBS Talisay-Cebu Branch speaks of our confidence in the growth prospects of Cebu province," according to Pia Monica C. Alturas, head of the Central and Eastern Visayas Retail Banking Area. "We are excited about business opportunities in Talisay City and look forward to contributing to the growth of a competitive SME sector and better quality of life in the community."
With the opening of CBS Talisay-Cebu branch, the bank's network in the Visayas region includes a total of 14 regular branches supported by 24 branch lite units and APD loan centers.
